It takes two to Tango! *
The Tango craze of the early 20th Century is captured in this unique publication by Samuel Beach Chester, Secrets of the Tango. He states in the beginning of the book:

“Whether the Tango is due to insanity, or whether the insanity is due to the Tango, it is impossible to say! But the Tango lives, thrives and nourishes in thousands of heads which govern feet, large and small — feet which dance to Paradise or perdition, as the case may be. Even the German Emperor, who has lost much of his former glory as a notorious person, threatens to re-enter the arena of fame, again, by his association, or disassociation, with the Tango!”
